Producing an effective marketing strategy is not rocket science, but lots of people like to pretend it is. The language doesn’t need to be complex, but sometimes people love to baffle with long words and lofty phrases. Strategic thinking shouldn’t be about complex solutions. It’s a process of simplification. Not long back, we heard someone of referencing ‘Mogic’, magic, mixed with logic*. What utter bullshit.

Developing a marketing strategy is often about common sense, getting your timing right, and stating truth about a product or service that people understand instantly. What’s complicated about that?
